Obviously literally it seems imo only the next 12 to 24 months is going to be painful for tls.
Excellent article by itnews on the roll out of 5g and the decisions tls must make as to how much they must invest in the network based on capabilities and future flexibility built into network to cope with 5g developments over the next 3 to 5 years.ie could vary between between 3 to 4 times per site and currently tls has 500 sites covering 26 cities with target being 800 sites.
A little pearl included in article was tls providing 5g services free for 12 months.Probably reasonable until 5g coverage becomes more commercial for 5g phones..But should still benefit tls business division immediately..
Interesting and another solid decision by tls re china agreement as per jason's link.
And just to throw a little more cold water over this love fest,the accc notes tls could loose up to 15% of tls's regional nbn customer base as nbn completed.
So this little piggy is going to sit and wait till 13 of feb to see what action i believe is required ie sit or add,i hope its not trim.
ps lets not forget chairmans ebitda target.
