Imo, more good news to come for NAB and other banks.
Firstly, the regulator no longer impose dividend payout ratio.
Secondly, banks are working with regulators to stimulate the economy.
Thirdly, banks have learned the lesson about their bad behaviour in the past.
Fourth, the huge provisions they made during the pandemic could be written back in future as profits
