Banks are not what they were their are other competitors eating their lunch ,they have sold of many parts of their business so their earnings will be down,they have cut a lot of expenses but have a look at where the share price is about where they were 10 years ago.I bought all the banks 10 years ago and Macquarie and to a lesser extent CBA is the only one's that grew. They still have a long way to grow to restore customer and community trust.
