re: sars will wipe out profits QAN has been severely oversold, thanks to the media hype on SARS. Given the impact on SARS, the bottom line will be 10-15% less that the original forcast, but that still make a profit of more than 0.5B. If you work our the maths on a PE ratio of 14, the share price is still has a fare bit to go (up). The institutions are not buying QAN like crazy for hearing of loosing out of the upside, hence the dramatic price hike today.
