While not an accountant I can tell you shareholders aren't even last on the list of priorities. I don't know what is below last but that is where shareholders are.
First in line these days are workers entitlements therefore Directors are well placed
Second is ATO and secured entities [ie Banks]
Third is priority holders such as secured and convertible notes
Next is trade suppliers
Lastly is ??????
and then . . . . . . . . . . . .
SHAREHOLDERS {Yeah!!]
In other words, forget it!!
