Led - I know what you are saying about further development of Bevan increasing its value - but the cat's already out of the bag on that one I would have thought.... and surely the Indians can't imagine they are going to pick up Bevan for next to nothing?? they couldn't be that naive. No, I think there's other stuff in play here including that NMDC simply are no longer interested in Bevan? after all, India has no shortage of iron in the first place. NMDC stated a long time time ago that their intention was to sell any iron to other countries. I think people might have forgotten that and perhaps NMDC's focus has shifted elsewhere.

still, the whole sorry mess and its history makes little sense to me.
