Isn't a recession good for gold though? Recession lower interest rates, lower USD, gold being a hedge against a US dollar devaluation?
Finding the whole NCM thing hard to read! Gold prices are very volatile atm. Most pundits are predicting an uptrend medium term, most of the pundits on CNBC have said further Fed rate cuts are inevitable.
