Where to SRK?

My research on potential Australian graphite miners has led me to investigate SRK.

Based on my early stages analysis one major concern about SRK is the lack of clear plans towards mining anything! For example, the 2017 Annual Report covers lots of financial information, but scant information on plans about mining.

I read in the September 2017 Quarterly Report:
"Between 2006 and 2014, Strike’s primary focus was on the development of its Apurimac Magnetite Project in Peru, recognised as one of the highest grade, large scale magnetite projects in the world with the potential to support the establishment of a significant iron ore operation. Adverse market conditions however have led Strike to suspend all development activities on this and its other iron ore projects in Peru"

That is quite some period to have go by with little to show.

What confidence can I have that SRK is actually committed to turn its new graphite and lithium assets into revenue?

I first came across Strike in the * article "Strike has a world-class graphite deposit on its hands; shares rocket 45pc" https://**promotion blocked**/resources/strike-skyrockets-45pc-high-grade-graphite-resource/ that highlights its total graphitic carbon (TGC) as the fourth highest of any ASX-listed graphite projects.

However, in the case of Talga Resource I see significant efforts underway to develop its market and customer base with extensive projects working on potential applications such as paint and concrete additives, in addition to battery technologies.

Seems to me that if Strike is serious about getting its graphite resource to production it should be doing similar innovative work with Australian universities and research institutes to build itself a market for its graphite. After all, it seems to have the cash, some of which should be going into market development!

Keen to hear from long-term holders to understand whether SRK has what it takes to go from an explorer to a producer, most especially an innovative producer?
