    * year end tax selling now done, happy new year
    * Trend reversed late last week
    * 5 month record volume with 37M traded thursday
    * copper at 60 day high at $4.28
    * buy signals on charts and TA's
    * dow had a screamer on friday closing up 166 points
    * plenty of interest and opinions flowing on HC
    * announcements pending
    * copper looking bullish again
