Status of MLS Projects as at the 20th February (according to my research which could be wrong)

Projects in progress with announcements pending:
    None

    Projects scheduled to commence soon:
Lac Rainy Graphite - The Company plans to complete a maiden diamond core drilling program during the 2018 winter season at the Lac Rainy Est Graphite Project. Relevant permits have been received for the work and planning for the necessary logistics is in progress.

During the last quarter work on the Lac Rainy Project was focussed on the compilation of results generated to-date and management of a metallurgical test work program (Ann: Metallurgical Test Results for Lac Rainy Graphite Project).

Projects pending with unknown start date:
    Manindi Zinc/Lithium Project
    Zinc
    - During the Quarter, the Company completed four reverse circulation (RC) percussion drill holes, MNRC016-019, totalling 1,147.00 metres at the Manindi project. Three holes, MNRC016, MNRC017 and MNRC019, were drilled in the vicinity of the existing Kultarr mineral resource targeting the newly interpreted down plunge extension of the C4 conductor target. The remaining hole, MNRC018 was designed to test the Kultarr North C2 conductor target located approximately 350 m north along strike from the Kultarr resource, refer to MLS announcement dated 7 November 2017.
The Company intends to continue its drilling campaign at Manindi, focused on substantially increasing the mineral resource.
Lithium - The Company has previously announced that significant widths of high-grade lithium-bearing pegmatites up to 25 m wide assaying up to 2.14% Li2O occur in historical diamond drill core from the Mulgara Prospect area. Furthermore, limited rock chip sampling of exposed pegmatites in the Mulgari-Warabi Prospect areas has returned high-grade lithium results of up to 2.84% Li2O. For full details, refer to Metals Australia ASX announcement dated 21 March, 2017. Additional work has shown that the area prospective for lithium-bearing pegmatites extends over a strike length of approximately 2 km. Exposures of pegmatite occur in a zone approximately 800 m wide but interpretation of airborne magnetic images and other remote sensing images indicate that the known pegmatites continue under cover. The work has also identified other pegmatite exploration targets that have not been mapped at surface suggesting there remains significant potential below the shallow cover.
Metals Australia is planning further exploration of the lithium potential at the Manindi Project. Mapping and remote sensing interpretation indicates that the pegmatite intrustions are significantly more widespread than just those previously sampled and significant potential exists for further discoveries of lithium-bearing rocks.

    Projects that are on hold:
Lac du Marcheur Cobalt Project - Results were received for field mapping and a small program of rock chip sampling completed at the Lac Pauzé Showing where historical results have identified cobalt mineralisation of 0.18% Co, 0.23% Cu and 0.34% Ni (refer Ann: Cobalt Mineralisation at Lac du Marcheur Project).
No fieldwork is planned for the upcoming quarter, while winter conditions render further reconnaissance fieldwork ineffective. Results of completed exploration and sampling are being evaluated and a work program for the summer comprising season is being prepared.
Lac Le Motte Lithium - numerous pegmatites hosting spodumene and varying from 1.6m to 6m in width intrude diorites, monzonites and metasediments of the Caste Group that are in contact with the basalts of the Lower Malartic Group. The lithium mineralisation occurs mainly in medium to large spodumene crystals.
No fieldwork is planned for the upcoming quarter, while winter conditions render further reconnaissance fieldwork ineffective. A work program for the summer season is being prepared.

No fieldwork is planned for the upcoming quarter, while winter conditions render further reconnaissance fieldwork ineffective. A work program for the summer season is being prepared.
Lac Le Corne Lithium - Assay results were received for initial reconnaissance rock grab and channel sampling completed at the Lac la Corne Lithium Project (refer to MLS announcement dated 28 November 2017). Identification and mapping of pegmatite exposures was also completed. Anomalous lithium up to 635 ppm Li2O was identified, along with encouraging lithogeochemical indicators, such as elevated rubidium and tantalum values. Sampling indicates potential for spodumene-bearing pegmatites within the project area, with only a small portion of the property assessed.
No fieldwork is planned for the upcoming quarter, while winter conditions render further reconnaissance fieldwork ineffective. Results of exploration are being evaluated and a work program comprising more detailed mapping and sampling during the summer season is being prepared.
Lacourciere-Darveau Lithium - consists of 152 mineral claims and 28 mineral claim applications totalling approximately 104.25 km2 located approximately 15 kilometres west of the community of Malartic.
Desktop geological assessment and technical evaluation of the Lacourciere-Darveau Lithium Project was undertaken during the quarter.
No fieldwork is planned for the upcoming quarter, while winter conditions render further reconnaissance fieldwork ineffective.

    Projects suspended:
    Mile 72 Uranium
    - Metals Australia holds 100% of the Mile 72 Uranium Project, located near Henties Bay on the west coast of Namibia. The project comprises a single exclusive prospecting license (EPL 3308) and is considered prospective for calcrete and gypcrete hosted uranium as well as alaskite hosted uranium.
Geological and economic assessment of the area continued during the quarter and the Company is considering options for divestment of the project.

    Projects not under our control:
    Sherlock Bay Extended joint venture
    - Now controlled by Sabre Industries (SBR) of with I think we have a 15% free carried interest, The Company intends to immediately commence exploration for conglomerate-hosted gold mineralisation. (Taken from their Activity Statement dated 31/01/18)

    New prospective acquisitions:
Not sure where we are at with this one, last I heard they are still doing due diligence on a further cobalt project opportunity in the Cobalt Mining Camp of Ontario (Canada). (IMO this have fallen through)
Further cobalt projects opportunities are currently being evaluated by the Company - focus is on cobalt projects hosted in silver-cobalt veins.

Most of the above info has been cut and pasted from various announcements.
