For the newbies out there . Seems there are a few dabbling in AMX at present. Let me try and provide some clarity on where we are at .
1. The recent downtrend from the "exploration peak" AMX has experienced is nothing new or irregular for a junior miner. Its a normal part of the cycle.
2. There are two key periods when it is clearly the best time to make an initial investment or add-on to your existing investment . One is before the exploration peak , the other is right now, in the later stages of feasibility when the project has been significantly derisked and a proven resource established.
3. While stocks don't always follow the cycle perfectly, we can see that AMX is starting to show signs of a bottom, which is coinciding with progression of feasibility studies. I think we experienced a deeper than normal sell off from the exploration peak and therefore we'll most likely see a shorter period of sideways trading from the bottom and a sharper/sooner move higher than normal.
Many professional resources investors will see the current setup for AMX and realise this as a key entry point. Significantly derisked and potential for biggest gains to come. And as always , the lure of a take over play with premium is ever present.
Not surprisingly, the stock has been picked by a few well known resource investing sites/newsletters with a large following lately.
