I think because it was a 2 stage trial, stage 1 comprised of 4 doses including placebo lets say 150 per dose totalling 600. Stage 2 was comprised of 1 dose vs placebo. Therefore they would of needed less participants in stage 2 due to the higher numbers in each tested dose. Looking at the numbers stated, there would be 336 participants for stage 2, roughly 170 in each dose arm.
Looks like this trial has just been summised on the stage 1 data.
