Mike the view i hold on the services sector is it out priced itself .
Companies now have got a taste of having to micro manage themselves to survive and possibly are not looking to be involved where they cannot have everything under those teams.
They may even be beginning to see the waste of opportunity of not doing so when it was booming and everything was throw more money at it .
I am pretty positive towards gold and have not been for quite sometime/ years . Not so much the commodity but to companies and in particular those who have been able turn the corner by managing with less.
You are right it takes that bit of working the portfolio all the time to get results . imo
In particular if your not in a long term trend . That period is every ones own to where they enter .
I have been looking pretty close at gold stocks and SAR is one i have picked up to do .
Mostly its charting only so for me it looks ok and maybe sitting about 32% above its low point back last year where since it traveled sideways.
Not sure why it stepped out of the downtrend of the index which was still in place then but could be well position now for any up tick because it has ?
Thats a mystery i need overcomming as i dont mind stocks which break from trend early if i can validate it into something concrete.
The worry i get with them also is has the bounce been built in already to there value?
