B.Head's graphs tell the story. Massive downtrend over past 2 yrs with a couple of jumps along the way. Shows how incredibly difficult it has been to make money is this sector unless one went short. Also shows the futility of holding-on in hope of a turn around as i did with IMD! Compare with the chart for educ. Steep almost smooth consistent rise. What a great sector to have bought 2 yrs ago and simply held. Probably paid some decent divs as well. So is now the time to enter MS sector? If commodity prices do start rising the shares of the pure miners will rise much more steeply as extra cash received goes to bottom line. Most MS firms now locked into contracts with weak margins and won't benefit.
