The latest catalyst was last night's ISM Manufacturing PMI disappointing Wall Street.
Clearly they were expecting people to continue spending away, buying new cars in the midst of one of the worst cold snaps during January. Even polar bears decided to take cover.
PMI in February will probably "surprise to the upside", god bless America.
