the information provided in your post is not that, but pure conjecture and opinion and therefore I'll treat it as rubbish.
The current downtrend may have nothing to do with obtaining finance and more to do with the current climate of markets. Many stocks have taken a beating in the last 1-2 months.
The next major miltstone is end of June therefore it's not a big leap in intelligence to realise that it may tread water or go down while news is potnetial 2-3 months away.
