there are always going to be risks vs rewards in any investment. what investors have to do is weigh up the potential upside vs the potential risks. the risks you have listed are there, but have always been there, but also the greater rewards in upcoming explorers/developers will be found in areas previously considered politically too high risk. the world is changing and new resource projects will be and are being developed in virgin territories and will continue to be so. It is a process for this to happen but in my opinion SDL is progressing an extremely attractive project (albeit with hurdles to jump)in the timeframe that it takes.
