Hi Sid - I remind myself that there is a difference between cycles whether you look at Elliot waves, Fibbo, or GANN. Sam Weinstein also held the four stage view. However, there are micro and macro cycles and my guess is that we are in a micro cycle of a larger Early Growth phase. Fibbo retracement is spot on 50 now and we are double bottoming. The buyer at 3 mill on Friday was not there for the fun of it. That is why, when people suggest that I subscribe to a conspiracy theory - the answer is yes. Anyone who has traded for a reasonable length of time will understand this. It is not cloak and dagger, it is the nature of the beast.

Also, Elliot wave theorists see commodities as having a slightly different character to normal stocks. In that there is a very powerful last wave. I think that we haven't seen it yet. By the way, GANN is looking for a positive trend change in the next two weeks.
