WHN requested a delay to the enquiry of appeal.

WHN need to commission a report on the wild bird activity in the area, and subsequent risks to the bird activity as a consequence of the wind farm. This analysis was poorly done prior to the initial rejection of the wind proposal.

They have now commisioned an ornithologist to collect the information necessary to make an appropriate
assessment and thereby to comply with the relevant legislation, which is Regulation 48 of the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c) Regulations 1994 as amended.

The final report should be available by mid September 2010, then all relevent parties will review the report.
Bearing in mind the need for enough time to let the relevant persons receive and interpret the new information collected , the inquiry is unlikely to begin before December 2010.

So, end result possibly first quarter 2011.
