I would be interested in others thoughts, as I often wonder how if in the hideous situation one had to face any of these - you would retain a faith/ belief , when it seems to have totally deserted you.

ask yourself another type of question.

imagine if you lived in a perfect paradise, where you never got old, where you never got sick, where there was never any danger, where no one ever got hurt, where every thing you could ask for was provided, where you never had to struggle for anything, where every mouth was fed abundantly but just enough to not raise your cholestoral. where every wish was granted.

now if you lived in this situation, would you retain a faith or belief, probably not, because then you wouldn't need God, because faith is like a muscle and only gets strengthened when it is worked.

I don't know why the world is how it is, and I've had my fair share of tragedies that I wouldn't wish on anybody, but I still think this world is a beautiful place despite all of it's (and my) flaws.

Just my thoughts.
