If that was the case then the commercial partner would not be permitted access to those (trial) results otherwise it would be insider trading... if the trial results are as good an the interim results were; as TIS has implied, then they (TIS) would be in a stronger negotiating position, and/or possibly attract stronger interest from prospective commercial partners through releasing the trial results.
The annual report that was just released reiterated that the trial results were expected to be released by the end of Oct, you would imagine that a deadline that was only a couple of days away would not be reaffirmed unless there was a reasonable basis for it. Either way we will find out be monday.
