Given that the typical price of a prefilled safety syringe is $0.40-$0.70 (from the Jan 2009 report -- a good read), what sort of margin do you expect UNI to be making per syringe?

1bn x $0.10 margin = $100m EBIT x 0.7 = $70m NPAT
$70m x 30PE = $2.1bn / 300m shares = $7 per share

1bn x $0.20 margin = $200m EBIT x 0.7 = $140m NPAT
$140m x 30PE = $4.2bn / 300m shares = $14 per share

1bn x $0.30 margin = $300m EBIT x 0.7 = $210m NPAT
$210m x 30PE = $6.3bn / 300m shares = $21 per share

1bn x $0.40 margin = $400m EBIT x 0.7 = $280m NPAT
$280m x 30PE = $8.4bn / 300m shares = $28 per share


From memory, that same report mentioned that UNI distributes to the pharmaceuticals for prefilling, meaning that their margins will be relatively high (between 20-40%).

So I suspect we will be hitting $20-$30 a share sometime after 2013-14 if all goes well.
