Price rises like this always seem to have some inherent stickiness associated with them.

I think it will take quite a while for the traders to get worked out of the stock.

PRR was a case in point where it remained at elevated levels, although lower than the peak, for a few weeks (if not more) until eventually the volatility and liquidity dried up and it ended trading back where it all started.

Fe ore is quite hot at the moment and even though the news was only at the rock chip level HAO may retain some of its gains, but I would suspect most will eventually be given up unless new announcements are forthcoming.

I think Macrae's assessment was fairly close to the mark.
