I hear from industry participants that know the CEO and the COO and say they are nice enough BUT HAVE NO DRIVE, no motivation. NO drive to explore, no drive to save money.
CTP don't show up at Conferences such as AGES or SEAOC - that requires travel and effort. Media presence requires effort and scrutiny.
It is ridiculous that the Board put up with this poor performance, AND PAY THEM WAY OVER THE ODDS. But it is the poor performance that really costs shareholders. I heard one member of the Board "was not happy" but has done nothing about it - Director fees are easy money for retired people; the Board is part of the problem. But will anything change... do I sell out as hopeless or hang in hoping for a white knight or private equity to make a bid?
