My place was completely burnt out, property next door not touched nor nothing west of there.

We burnt to scorched earth, now the grass is 4 foot high.

the explosion in wildlife is amazing, insects, reptiles, birds, mammals. The lifeforce is incredible, it's thriving.

I'd even say the land was calling for a big burn.

Much of the country was made to burn, like a rose is made to be pruned.
