Honestly, 100's of hours of research. Not limited to desktop research (Google/ internet), meeting with people, picking up the phone etc. Spending countless hours becoming familiar with ALL stakeholders. Basically stock-standard investment research that is generally not done at all by most investors (and with good reason as the stock is liquid and it is relatively easy to clear your position should you become uncomfortable). How do I know the application hasn't been lodged. They said so in the engineering release. How do I know the process? Because I have talked to people who do, and who are apart of it and they have explained it to me.
