moly - i know the $900 isn't coming directly from the future fund (i was joking) but it's not like it's coming from a place a million miles away from it.

the future fund has a rather poor history - from memory i think it could have done better with its money to have simply put it in the bank. then i guess that's true for a lot of people on this forum. so i would be interested to know exactly what this much trumpeted fund has done (your ANZ revelation was news to me).

i would have hoped that it was there to assist with the sort of crisis we are experiencing now. and that doesn't mean i want it to come out and save ozl. but it could simply offer $1 more than MinMetals and put in its own management and when it returns to profitability float it. sounds easy but i guess it can't be.

sorry if offended with my previous post but i just haven't seen the future.
