Whilst there "could" be a percieved conflict of interest (Although I am NOT suggesting that is this matter) what is a person to do to earn a living when they change jobs?
Everyone has the right to be employed in any legal occupation they want to.
Unless we pay someone like this out a stipend to stay unemployed for say 12 months I'm not sure what can be done about it.
And if the government did, then everyone would be complaining about the wasted money.
