imo for an emerging company trying to prove itself....in the first instance its about its about vision, the products, the technologies, the innovations, the will, the people, the physical manufacturing facilities and protecting your patents...
....from that point on getting the right people to take notice and providing word of mouth reference and support (by far and away the best form of advertising and marketing, money and sheer hard work pounding the pavement and talking to a vast range of interested parties is the only way to grab the markets attention...
.....it takes constant face to face meetings with the same people many times before one convinces another to take the plunge and use your product over another...consider the implications of that when the product is something that is inserted into a body and will hopefully save lives...
...and the above is just the start......and I reckon I have left plenty out at that!
