I have a recollection of reading that shareholders equity was put up as collateral for some of the more recent sources of funding. Which I took to mean in the event of default on these loans shareholders equity would transfer to those who provided this funding.
Unsurprisingly the identities of the parties who provided this funding were not revealed.
Does anyone else remember this and the details?
