whether to take up spp @ 13cents ?

I was quite surprised to see share price rise to 16c when SPP is at 13c, so I guess it must be new blood coming on board from the report in the newspaper. To take advantage of 13c you had to be a holder as at 14/12/2010. I will be watching the price and volume action until nearer the SPP closing date to determine if and how much to put in; as at this stage I consider the only pluses is it will lower my average cost or if the price holds to make quick turn on any new money put in but at this stage it is likely I won't take the offer up.
I have held for over a year now and earlier was quietly confident, that feeling has diminished somewhat. The shares are not at the bottom drawer yet.
If I take up the minimum number of shares I will hold more real shares than 2 of the 3 directors as they hold only 100,000 or less shares. so hopefully they will be at taking up the full $15000 worth to show the support that other shareholders would like to see in the company they are running.
