It seems all the majors have been punished to the point where they may rate a buy soonish. You would, however, have to wonder which will recover first when the whole storm blows over.
I suspect it will not be ANZ because they seem to be a bit more on the nose than the others. Massive CDS exposure, securities lending problems, a litany of management issues eg. a board who is flying blind, an aborted Asian strategy, etc.
NAB's probably in Bronze contention, with Westpac taking Silver and CBA, narrowly, Gold.
I don't hold any and don't know anything but this seems to be the way things are being played out in the press.
