I want to keep my OGC shares on the TSX
I have two online brokers. I signed up to CMC to trade international shares. I even bought some TSX:OGC on there. I wanted to combine the holdings but they tell me that my international share holdings are not held in my in my name but are held by BNP Paribas. I quote:Kindly be advised that BNP Paribas are unable to provide the Canadian HIN equivalent for your trading account.
Please note that the Custodian structure does not allow for a HIN equivalent, instead the shares are all held together by BNP Paribas and allocated to a specific account.
So I cant convert my OGC holdings to TSX shares using CMC. What other brokers are you using that allow you to convert your CDIs to shares on the TSX. I want to do it before it delists. That gives me only a week!
