The chances that the Bible is so exact that we can debate TO and OF kind of overlooks just how denatured the Bible must be as it has crossed into many different language translations, cultural differences and then travelled from ancient times to now so that the sprit of the age is also lost to us.

It we read the works of Shakespeare from only 400 years ago there are many in-jokes, words and phrases pertaining to that age and we struggle to understand the. The Bible must have suffered far more loss of fidelity than Shakespeare.

I think we read the Bible knowing its a compilation of liturgies produced after the fact and that the precise Teachings of Christ are somewhat diluted from the actual words of Christ. TO / OF / FOR it's okay, relax.
