With the sudden and catastrophic demise of Greensill, the immediate focus now needs to be on which other supply chain finance companies are underwritten by IAG's trade credit insurance policies. As shareholders, I think everyone should be entitled to know, given how quickly we have seen this can completely fall apart.
I may or may not be wrong, but is Octet covered by IAG? (I hope I'm wrong)
Octet is an Australian based supply chain finance provider. Like Greensill, they would also be reliant on this type of insurance policy.
Does anyone here know if IAG provides a policy to Octet or not? is there any way of finding this out?
If it is indeed IAG who currently covers Octet, should we now be concerned about their direction given the negative feedback loop associated with this type of facility that will invariably occur as a direct result of Greensill's collapse?
Could be on shaky ground if it is.
