The previous gov't hailed Carnrgie Wave Energy [CWE] as the "Holy-Grail" of renewable energy and used their Fremantle site for several "Foto-Opportunity" shots,,,but it ended there!Present gov't have continued in the same vein,in awarding [supposedly CWE]s project off south coast to a U.S. co.,,'OPTT' who had 'conveniently' transferred their financial support from Griffin Energy to a construction Co. with huge 'clout' ,named Leightons!!
IMO NEITHER party are inclined to be of assist to CFU,nor CWE,in the foreseeable future!
As an aside,'Fuel Cell Energy Inc. [U.S] yesterday sold a
1.4 MW. unitto G3 Power,in California to be installed in the 'Olivera Egg Ranch LLC.Calif.to meet the power requirements of said Ranch,,so,,,things are moving elsewhere,,,,just that this country is,as usual,happy to see our inventions go offshore ,,,we'll "Wake-from-the Dead" one of these years,,,scanno.
