    Hi all,

I am interested in some feedback. I am fairly new to CFDs having traded physical shares for some time.

I have always been a little wary of CFDs in regard to possible provider manipulation (it is a bit like betting on a horse race with the other horses, it seems).

I am with MacBank Prime for trading (not the cheapest I know, but I have had my reasons) and have found a number of SLs have been hit with the market reversing very quickly after. A few times the underlying shares of my CFD were the only ones traded at my SL price and the price moves away straight after.

This is causing me great suspicion as I am only taking CFDs in ASX50 shares, so volume is not so light as to make me easy pickings, and I am not setting stupidly obvious SL levels.

Am I mad to suspect MB is running computer algorithms that take out the SLs of their own clients when within a certain reach?

It has just happened a couple too many times to be pure coincidence.

Has anyone else ever suspected or noticed such activity?
