it's humans who are pernicious -- pernicious plus really

they are harmful to other humans.


there's a big difference IMO between religion and the internet and social media etc.

internet is so humans can connect and share information, ditto social media.
yes, it can be used to harm, but that's not it's designed purpose

religion was invented out of pure fear and exploitation - because humans couldn't understand why they were here and feared the unknown, there were some who capitalised on that and so they invented fantasy - to give something to ground themselves - and right off the bat they did it purposefully to harness and harm others - the non believers or whoever they chose to control


that's vastly different to internet and social media -
