There's no delicate way to say this and I don't want it to sound rude, but, you say your personal portfolio is running at a loss. I have to ask why you would add your Super funds plus do an in-specie transfer into a scenario where you can apply your same "loss making trading strategy" on more funds?
I would think that when you have enough trading experience to consistently return positive results on your personal portfolio you could start down the SMSF path. There is plenty of advice here about fund choices and structures.. The key is to keep fees to a minimum.
