And finally, the sexy part of the survey. Which stocks will be taken over in 2011? Well, it was amusing to see Mozambique coalminer Riversdale Mining popping up in early responses from the first week of December.
Take the principals of WaveStone Capital, whose response at 6pm on December 2 highlighted Riversdale as "on the radar of the majors".
Sure enough, within a week Rio Tinto had lobbed an informal offer, which leaked in London's Daily Telegraph.
Maybe these guys are worth the fees?
There is definitely a view that mining and energy takeovers will continue, with the likes of Equinox Minerals, Extract Resources, Oil Search and Santos being cited as vulnerable.
