The "dubai debt crisis" suggests that it will take a serious global financial event to wake up the market to reality.
Given Government's around the world have sucked up and absorbed so much of the corporate debt poison, it seems credible that the event to shake the market will be related to Governments across the globe:
1) being unable to meet their financial obligations as they fall due; or
2) undermining their own economies through "quantitative easing" gone mad to the point of financial collapse.
Until then, to say the obvious, the trend is the trend is the trend...
