Without arguing 'one way or the other' in the current
discussion:

- there are also the drilling rigs operating on the
new easterly decline. Last quarter they intersected
some high grade gold.

- in general I feel the surface drilling should respond
to the geophysics.

- if the $Aus750 million was earning a decent rate of
interest it would not be such an issue (a job for the
finance director).


But as M&A have recently resulted in the 'burning of wealth'
(ref HT1) I am naturally cautious and am prepared to wait for the 'right' opportunity. HC42
