    'Average Oil'

Oil with an API greater than 30 is termed light, between 22 and 30 medium, below 22 heavy and below 10 extra heavy.

I wonder if 'Average' is classed as between 22 and 30 (medium)? - that would be a shame, I really hope
the API is greater than 30 (light) :/

I think YA mentioned earlier something about the previous well drilled off Senegal in the... 1960's? I think the API was in the heavy range?

There might be oil but it doesn't mean it is commercial grade. I really hope we don't get an announcement saying 'we found non-commercial quantities of crude baring sands' blablabla 'We will now drill SNE-1 to test different traps to in the hope of finding lighter quality oil API'.

I know the SP is looking good and I really, really hope for a good outcome for all of us, however, I have been here before when the SP sky rocketed to 14c and we all thought we were on a winner (KORA) and then it crashed to something like 1.8c based on a bad result.

I know we can take the fact the insto investors are buying up as a good sign, however, they might have different 'objectives' to us.

    Just be careful and DYOR.

    Ele.
