Two weeks ago I would have agreed. Now we have a very different situation. This is teetering on the brink mainly due to government being inept. A mortality rate of 2-3% doesn't hold unless strict rules and hospitals not being overloaded. The US is close to losing it and I think we are also. But even with that rate over say a few months, we're talking a society overun with illness and death (remembering 20% require hospital). for a time. As for younger people not giving a shit, I think when they start seeing the results they will...and if they don't they'll be forced too. It's not the young who hold political power. There are far more middle aged people with older family than young f*wits that'll attempt breaking enforced lockdowns.
