No one oposses on any form of taxation. However a taxation that will crucify a whole industry and peoples employment.
If this Labour Government was so intelligent why not simply set a 12-15% tax increase, it might have taken 10yrs to pay their debt, the resource industry would have winged midgly but came to the party and paid. Enough resource profit would remain for future building of new projects, people would be employed.
40% tax will destroy this industry. If we as simple layman can see logic why cant the politicians.
If there is no work in WA there will be a mass exodus, and where will they go all to the eastern states.
Please dont make fun on anybody, unless you've have lived those tough times in WA.
