Whilst I had that exact same thought Tooheys8, I also wonder if there two other things coming in to play.
1. The people in the know realise it's a potentially big announcement and don't want to be seen/linked to investment in the shares for fear of insider trading.
2. All the people like us have heard this so many times that we're very skeptical to invest more, especially if we've kept putting more money in every other time it seemed AKP was close to success.

I really hope we are close to a working chip. I still feel like it would be a couple of years after a successful demo though that the share price will really start to shine... when they're got plenty of orders and have increased capacity significantly.
