Don't know if anyone is watching platinum: but perhaps you should.
Today a one ounce platinum coin from Perth mint is 1704 bucks, while a one ounce gold coin is 1680 bucks. Not that long ago that Pt was quite a bit cheaper.
Pt is a good way to 'diversify' your precious metals. It's still a lump of something that's precious and it's linked to 'a recovery' much more than silver (which might make it a good precious metal hedge against gold).
