Yup it seems like the Islamic Menace has completely and utterly hijacked our thoughts these days. To think prior to 9/11 or earlier e.g. bombings of US embassies in Africa and the bombing of USS Cole there was very rare public discourse on the subject (excluding matters relating to Israel).
It would be interesting to know when Islam became the number one topic of discussion.
But I digress. We have heaps of social issues - law and order, family breakdown, single mums, ratbag kids that are just as much a threat to our way of life as Islam (at least the ratbag demographic of Islam).
My advice re fears about Islam - take a number and get in the queue.
