    How is it being naive? Naive is assuming that each case is the same scenario, and the deaths are random bad apples. A person suspected of forging cheques, doesn't deserve to be treated like that - if the US police can admit there's a systemic racial issue but for some reason you can't, nor read into objectives of the protests but have the nerve to undermine it, then you are probably part the problem.

    My personal opinion is that USA is an absolute shitshow, and that the police lack adequate levels of training and education to be able to perform the jobs effectively. It's not even their fault they they've not been equipped properly, it's much larger. The first step to a solution in my humble opinion is acknowledgement - then you go to the drawing board. The problem has historically been the acknowledgement, which now the gov't is coming to terms with.
