but if you think DC should of gone to jail the you should be in support of his family getting a settlement well north of 100m after being stabbed 22 times in the prison system.
i personally think the USA is a different beast to Australia if you deem the person to be a treat you can use reasonable force that can be 'deadly' due to the gun culture in the states - it would of been different if this happened in Australia where guns are far less common
